Fraud Monitoring Specialist

A Fraud Monitoring Specialist plays a pivotal role in protecting the organization from fraudulent activity and minimizing the cost of fraud.

This critical position operates effective Anti-Money Laundering (AML) transaction monitoring controls to meet regulatory expectations and payment processing partner requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fraud prevention and investigation, as well as a willingness to work night and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze financial transactions for potentially fraudulent activity.
  • Identify and combat Market/Financial Risk through Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
  • Communicate professionally with clients regarding suspicious activities while avoiding tipping off clients.
  • Investigate and identify potential cases of fraud or suspicious behavior.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Maintain procedures and ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in fraud prevention and investigation is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms is beneficial.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Self-driven and proactive mindset.
  • Strong communication skills with a professional demeanor.
