Business Intelligence Manager Position


Overview

The Business Intelligence Manager oversees the organization's data lifecycle, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.


Responsibilities:
  • Manages data build-up, warehousing, organization, transformation, processing, quality, and governance
  • Designs scripts, workflows, and models for geospatial analytics and forecasting
  • Ensures proper versioning and archiving of databases arising from new information and quality checks
  • Reconciles demand data from multiple sources to ensure a cohesive database
  • Enforces governance over proper use, access, and interpretation of demand data
  • Integrates Enterprise Data and Customer Analytics data marts and platforms
  • Develops and implements data management policies and standards
  • Establishes and maintains data governance frameworks
  • Manages data quality initiatives, including data cleansing and validation processes
  • Collaborates with IT teams to design data architecture solutions
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Improves data accessibility and usability through data cataloging and metadata management
  • Oversees data security measures, including encryption and access controls
  • Monitors and reports on key data management metrics

Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in database management and data warehousing
  • Work experience in a telco company is preferred; with working knowledge of telco fundamentals
  • Graduate of Statistics, Computer Science, or related courses
  • Expert knowledge in analytics and visualization tools (Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau)
  • 5+ years of experience in data management roles
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership position
  • Advanced knowledge of data management principles and technologies
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security concepts
  • Familiarity with industry trends and emerging technologies in data management
