We are seeking a seasoned expert in Power BI to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Microsoft tool stack for Business Intelligence and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Job Description

The Lead Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex data models and reports using Power BI. This includes creating star schema data models, writing DAX measures, and building interactive dashboards.

The successful candidate will also have experience with Power Query/M, DAX, and dimensional modeling. Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of data quality, data governance, and business intelligence principles.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience working with data and business intelligence solutions on the Microsoft tool stack for Business Intelligence (SSRS, Power BI, or PowerPivot)
  • Advanced knowledge of TSQL, data modeling, and reporting using Power BI or other Microsoft tools
  • Experience creating complete Power BI report solutions based on business questions with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters
  • Dynamic measure designs using advanced DAX techniques
  • Knowledge of data mashups and transformations using Power Query/M language
  • Utilize Databricks platform to develop, implement, and optimize data pipelines and workflows
