Key Responsibilities

  • Translate animation storyboards from Japanese to English, requiring strong translation skills and attention to detail.
  • Serve as translator during meetings, fostering effective communication among team members.
  • Coordinate work schedules and deadlines with TOEI Japan office, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries via Slack and Microsoft Teams, providing excellent customer support.
  • Answer calls from Japanese telephone lines, handling client communications professionally.
  • Transmit information to designated departments/staff, maintaining seamless workflow.
  • Assist employees with work-related translations, supporting team collaboration and productivity.
  • Prepare and submit translation and production related reports, facilitating informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's/College Degree or higher in a relevant field, demonstrating academic achievement.
  • Achieve at least JLPT N2 or N3 level, showcasing language proficiency.
  • Demonstrate proficient English to Japanese translation & vice-versa skills, ensuring effective communication.
  • Exhibit skilled document translation abilities, producing high-quality translated materials.
  • Possess knowledge of at least 500 kanji, an advantage for complex translation tasks.
  • Display strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Be willing to work in a hybrid work setup, adapting to changing work environments.
