A talented UI/UX Designer is required to take ownership of the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframes through to final visual design and implementation support. Reporting to the CTO, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered designs that meet business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design process, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for web applications. They must be proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools, have a solid understanding of user-centered design principles, and excellent visual design skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
  • Design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces, adhering to brand guidelines and design system standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure seamless handoff and accurate implementation.
  • Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and user personas.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and ensure design feasibility.
  • Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and usability testing results.
  • Advocate for user needs across the product lifecycle, using data and insights to guide decisions.

Attributes:

  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design process, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs for web applications.
  • Experience creating responsive, mobile-first designs and working with design systems.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and interaction design patterns.
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG).
