Software Quality Assurance Lead

At ETeam PH, we're seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Lead to join our team. With a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, this role is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to take on new challenges and grow with our organization.

About the Role:

The Software Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and usability of our system. This involves overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, including testing, process improvement, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborating closely with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders will be crucial in delivering a high-quality product that meets customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure seamless integration with our software development life cycle.
  • Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies to guarantee the system meets functional and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and locations, including onsite testing activities and rectification works.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback to ensure our system meets the highest standards.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Monitor debugging process results to ensure resolution of defects and continuous improvement.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is integrated at every stage, from planning to deployment.
  • Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to manage changes and ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to remain ahead of the curve.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or fare collection systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
