Quality Assurance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Director to join our team at ETeam PH. As a Quality Assurance Director, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, accuracy, and usability of our system.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires occasional travel. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software quality assurance and leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Define and execute testing strategies to ensure the system meets functional and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and locations, including onsite testing activities and rectification works.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues through root cause analysis.
  • Monitor debugging process results to ensure resolution of defects.
  • Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
  • Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality is integrated at every stage.
  • Lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes to manage changes and ensure minimal disruption to services.
  • Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance, leadership role is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with ticketing or fare collection systems is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving aptitude.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
