Job Description:

Speechify aims to bridge the gap between reading and learning. We believe that everyone should have access to information, regardless of their ability to read.

Our text-to-speech products are used by over 50 million people worldwide, turning any content into audio so they can learn faster, read more, and remember better.

We're a team of nearly 200 people distributed across the globe, working in a 100% remote setting with no office.

The ideal candidate will be someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and has experience building great user experiences that delight users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively ship production code to web products
  • Work closely with the product team to develop new features
  • Participate in product discussions to shape the product roadmap
  • Have opportunities to work on new and exciting features that impact millions of lives

Requirements:

  • Experience building scalable products for thousands or millions of users
  • Customer obsession and desire to build high-quality products that serve customer needs
  • Speed and ability to generate ideas quickly and make decisions about what to prioritize
  • Focus and knowing when to engage or focus on individual tasks
  • Collaboration and ability to inspire, play, and negotiate with designers, marketers, and PMs
  • Tech stack: Vanilla JS, ReactJS, Redux, Firebase, Typescript
