Business Analysis Role Overview

The Junior Business Analyst position plays a pivotal role in the success of various projects.

Gathering and analyzing business requirements is crucial for successful project delivery. This entails assisting stakeholders in defining project scope, identifying key performance indicators, and ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements to ensure a clear understanding of stakeholder needs.
  • Develop process flows, business models, and system documentation to support effective solution implementation.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and implementation of business requirements.
  • Conduct gap analyses to identify discrepancies in business processes and propose corrective actions.
  • Develop user stories and acceptance criteria for Agile projects to facilitate smooth execution.
  • Develop test plans and participate in user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate effective communication.
  • Prepare and maintain project-related documents to ensure transparency and accountability.
About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a similar role, including internships or entry-level positions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, such as statistical analysis and data visualization.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management principles.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple tasks effectively.
