Job Description

Evaluate credit worthiness of customers using Standard and Poor's credit risk rating system.

  • Exceptions are those under specific credit programs. Output shall be in the form of a credit rating memorandum following the format and data specifications of the parent bank.
  • Validate financials and cash flow projections through review of financial forecasts and sensitivity analyses to determine viability of the existing and/or proposed credit exposure.
  • Ensure that risk rating of customers are available in a timely manner.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Review ageing of past due on a monthly basis to determine status of non-performing accounts and adjust classification when warranted by developments.
  • Stay abreast of updates on regulatory policies including those stipulated by Anti-money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Program (MLTPP) through circulars, mandatory seminars and programs and adhere to those policies.

The selected candidate will join calls and visits conducted by Marketing to credit customers to understand nuances of business model and identify risk and vulnerabilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration or other finance-related courses.
  • Preferably Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Knowledge in account management or credit review, evaluating credit proposals, validating and analyzing financial statements, and generating risk ratings of individual borrowers.

Good oral and written communication skills are required for success in this role.
