Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced data professional to join our team as a Data Engineer or Data Analyst with expertise in Google Cloud's BigQuery. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and analyzing large datasets, as well as leveraging BigQuery's capabilities to deliver actionable insights and drive data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, cloud infrastructure, and SQL. Key responsibilities include designing, creating, and managing data solutions for data production, gathering, and processing. Using Google BigQuery to migrate and deploy data across systems will be a normal day-to-day task, involving building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL procedures.

Technical Requirements

  • Proficiency in Google BigQuery is required.
  • A solid grasp of the principles of data integration, data warehousing, and data modeling is essential.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL and SQL databases is necessary.
  • A working knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, is also required.

Additional Information

The applicant must have worked with Google BigQuery for at least two years. A strong academic background in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline is preferred. Additionally, experience producing significant data-driven solutions is highly valued.
