We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team at SID Global Solutions APAC.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about building complex data infrastructure and enabling business intelligence and advanced analytics.

About the Role:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing highly scalable data pipelines and warehouse solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving deep technical issues related to distributed computing, cloud infrastructure, and data processing bottlenecks.
  • Leading data engineering projects from design to deployment, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Optimizing big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Flink, or Snowflake.
  • Collaborating with data scientists and machine learning engineers to enable AI/ML use cases.

You will also establish data governance standards and best practices for security, compliance, and performance.

Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in data engineering, big data, or cloud infrastructure.
  • Expertise in distributed data processing frameworks like Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud data ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Scala, or Java for data processing.
  • Experience in architecting data lake and data warehouse solutions.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
