Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Operator

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of mechanical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mechanical equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks, including inspections, cleaning, and lubrication, to prevent equipment failure and extend its lifespan.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing production delays.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repair techniques to enhance job performance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator in a similar industry is highly advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
