Visual Creative Specialist

Overview

Primer is empowering educators to launch microschools in their communities. To achieve this mission, we need a skilled Visual Creative Specialist who can create world-class visual assets that reflect Primer's brand and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design digital and print materials, including graphics, brochures, flyers, event materials, banners, signage, ID cards, car tags, and welcome kits.

  • Maintain and grow Primer's Figma & Canva libraries and brand design systems to ensure consistency and accessibility across all assets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs, align on creative direction, and deliver high-quality assets quickly.

  • Manage production for printed materials, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and accuracy to specifications.

  • Turn around most design requests within 24 hours while maintaining quality and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience in graphic, brand, or visual design.

  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital and print work.

  • Proficiency in Figma and Canva.

  • Experience managing production from concept to final delivery, including printed work.

  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring high-quality work is delivered quickly.

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating across time zones.
