Job Description:

The role of Finance Business Partner involves providing financial analysis and insights to business units to facilitate informed decision-making. This includes analyzing financial statements, identifying trends, and developing strategic recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Partnership:
    • Drive regular performance reviews with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with current performance and targets.
    • Develop operational plans in collaboration with Business Unit Heads and oversee work efforts related to financial forecasting and budgeting.
    • Act as Bids and Awards Committee Chairman for major procurement items within the business unit.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:
    • Monitor business unit's performance against operational plans.
    • Oversee financial reporting functions, including review of reports generated for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Analyze and report financial statements to management, identifying additional financial or operational reports as needed.
    • Ensure business unit operates within approved budgets.
    • Implement proper financial controls and make necessary adjustments.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Review and sign off on tax returns and other compliance requirements.
    • Approve external audit requirements.
    • Stay up-to-date on new accounting standards and communicate relevant information to management and operating units.
    • Propose changes to the corporate financial model and forecast as necessary to manage financial and operational risks.
