Job Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure tools and automation using Python, Bash, Terraform, or Nix to enhance scalability, reliability, and performance of platforms.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps to support multiple development teams.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, providing analysis and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Practice incident response and promote postmortems with transparency.
  • Develop and uphold service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets for our services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, responding to and mitigating service interruptions and technical challenges.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Production-grade knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience scaling databases with high concurrency.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools, including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Solid troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Proven experience with identity services and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience scaling and managing Azure PostgreSQL in production environments.
  • Proficient in deploying and managing Kubernetes operators.
  • Familiarity with service mesh and API gateway technologies.
  • Solid understanding of zero-trust access models and cloud-native security principles.
