About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Revenue Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate revenue and accounting data reporting as part of the monthly revenue close process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Review and ensure the completeness and accuracy of data in our revenue system, identifying and processing contract updates, revenue adjustments, and other journal entries.
  • Internal Controls: Operate and oversee revenue-related internal controls to maintain financial integrity and compliance.
  • Excel Expertise: Perform complex analysis and manipulation of data using Excel to support the monthly close process and other close tasks.
  • Deal Reviews and Checklists: Prepare deal reviews and checklists to ensure revenue recognition aligns with ASC 606 and company policies.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis and Audit Support: Conduct ad hoc analysis and assist in audit requirements to ensure seamless financial operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Industry Accounting Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant industry accounting or audit experience, including 2-3 years of revenue accounting experience and working knowledge of revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606 or IFRS 15).
  • Bachelor's Degree: In accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Analytical Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a practical solutions orientation.
  • Advanced Excel Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivoting and vlookup functions.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with sales and product teams, functional peer groups, and subordinates.
