Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Space Matrix Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily accounting, compliance, and reporting tasks while actively participating in financial operations.
  • Establish close relationships with the management team and functional leads to monitor financial results, identify growth potential, and operating efficiency.
  • Drive the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting process.
  • Analyze performance, variances, and reporting.
  • Recommend process improvements and ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
  • Ensure statutory compliance in Manila- SEC, BIR, and other local government requirements.
  • Review contracts/RFPs/Pitches for commercial/financial clauses.
  • Monitor project profitability and highlight variances with recommended actions.
  • Manage cash flow, billing, and collections to maintain a healthy company cash position.
  • Presentation of business and finance insights in leadership meetings.
  • Implement systems and process changes.
  • Lead a small finance team.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of experience in financial analysis and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards, national statutory compliance requirements, national taxes, and project accounting.
  • Experience working on an ERP system or SAP is an advantage.
  • Self-initiative with high integrity.
  • Ability to understand the business and provide finance advice to leaders.
  • Effective business partner and good team player.
  • Multitasking under fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
