Medical Care Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Gardenia Bakeries (Phils.), Inc. in Misamis, Tagoloan. This is a full-time opportunity that requires the right candidate to provide medical care and support to employees on-site.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing employee health needs, providing appropriate medical treatment, and overseeing patient recovery and progress. They will also assist in providing first aid treatments in medical emergencies and adhere to all relevant medical care, health and safety rules and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assessing Employee Health Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of employee health needs, identify potential health risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Providing Medical Treatment: Provide basic life support, administer medications as prescribed, and perform other medical procedures as required.
• Overseeing Patient Recovery: Monitor patient condition, document recovery progress, and communicate with the company doctor as needed.
• First Aid Response: Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid treatments, and maintain accurate records of incidents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant medical care, health and safety rules and regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Certifications: Registered nurse with an updated PRC card, training in Standard First Aid, Basic Life Support, and Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH)
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing
• Location: Must be willing to work in Misamis, Tagoloan
