We are seeking a diligent Taxation Specialist with expertise in preparing and filing various tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering exceptional customer service.

This key role involves:

  • Preparing business tax returns, including Form 1065 for partnerships and Form 1120 for corporations
  • Collaborating with clients to gather necessary tax documents and clarify concerns related to their business tax situation
  • Utilizing tax software for the preparation and analysis of tax returns, ensuring accurate calculations
  • Providing insights to clients on tax implications, deductions, and strategies to optimize their tax position
  • Reviewing prior year returns and applying applicable changes to current filings
  • Maintaining organized records of financial statements, tax documents, and communications with clients
  • Working closely with other members of the tax team to ensure deadlines are met and returns are filed on time
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least two years of experience in preparing business tax returns, especially for corporations and partnerships
  • Proficient in using tax preparation software, particularly for business tax filings
  • Strong understanding of relevant tax laws, regulations, and compliance issues
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with clients on tax-related matters
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
  • Able to analyze financial information and provide actionable tax advice
