About the Role

This Financial Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving financial insights and identifying opportunities for growth across our business and operational processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and has strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with a background in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and/or health-tech industries.

The Financial Business Analyst will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver financial analysis, develop strategies, and recommend data-driven solutions that support operational efficiency and sustainable growth. This includes conducting in-depth financial analysis, evaluating and analyzing business and financial operations, developing and monitoring financial and operational performance metrics, and designing and implementing process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed financial analysis, including modeling, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and ROI assessments.
  • Evaluate and analyze business and financial operations to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for efficiency and growth.
  • Develop, monitor, and interpret financial and operational performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
  • Partner with leadership to design and implement process improvements that drive financial and operational scalability.
  • Support strategic decision-making by assessing the financial impact of business initiatives across Product, Sales, and Operations.
  • Research industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in SaaS and health-tech to inform financial and business recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, concise financial reports and presentations that communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a hybrid role combining both.
  • Proven ability to perform financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting at a high level.
  • Experience analyzing and improving business processes, with a strong understanding of operational inefficiencies.
  • Background in SaaS or health-tech industries preferred.
  • Proficiency with BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Advanced skills in Excel, with experience in accounting/finance platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and SQL-based analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
