Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial functions of our organization, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial models, analyzing financial performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Accounting and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, overseeing general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll, implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, coordinating with external auditors for annual audits and financial reviews.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the finance and accounting teams, developing team skills and improving departmental efficiency.
- Strategic Financial Support: Provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making, evaluating financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and operational efficiency, overseeing investments, banking relationships, and funding arrangements.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in bookkeeping/accounting
- 2+ years in management budgeting and projections
- Proven track record in managerial or controller positions
- Cashflow management
