Job Title: Financial Operations Leader

The organization is seeking a strategic Financial Operations Leader to oversee accounting and finance functions across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the month-end close process for diverse financial systems, including NetSuite and QuickBooks.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and filing of multi-state sales taxes in TX, GA, FL, and LA. Compute sales commissions with precision and efficiency.
  • Process payroll bi-monthly and deliver timely financial statements and management reports.
  • Lead cashflow planning, forecasting, and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Supervise Accounts Receivable and Payable clerks and maintain comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, accruals, and deposits.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and monitor company performance metrics.
  • Oversee compliance filings, including property tax renditions and US income tax coordination.
  • Support lender and bank communications effectively.
  • Drive process improvements in NetSuite, particularly in landed cost postings and reconciliations.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager (5+ years).
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, beyond just end-user skills.
  • Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and multi-state sales/use tax regulations.
  • Experience supervising accounting staff and managing reconciliation and close processes.
  • Comfort managing multiple entities and adapting to changing financial landscapes.
