Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Network Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our enterprise network infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. They must also possess hands-on experience with Cisco and Fortinet solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable network architectures.
  • Implement advanced routing protocols across complex topologies.
  • Perform network assessments, audits, and health checks.
  • Troubleshoot complex network issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or consulting roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of advanced routing protocols.
  • Experience with firewall policy creation, UTM features, and threat prevention.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent.
  • Fortinet NSE4/FCP or higher certification.

About the Role:

This is a part-time position, Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 12 PM EST, with a potential to transition to full-time if it works out well.

The successful candidate will work closely with our team to ensure network security best practices are followed, particularly with Fortinet firewalls. They should also be able to provide post-deployment support and knowledge transfer to clients and internal stakeholders.

This role requires strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends in networking and security.
