Kitchen Layout Drafter Job Opportunity

RemoteVA is seeking a skilled Kitchen Layout Drafter to create beautiful and precise kitchen designs using 2020 Design or similar software.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural plans and cabinetry design, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual to design kitchen layouts using 2020 Design or similar tools based on provided architectural floor plans. The successful candidate will generate cabinet take-offs and unit counts to support quoting and production teams, prepare and organize accurate documentation using Excel for take-offs and client deliverables, collaborate with team members and project managers to ensure drawings meet both technical and aesthetic standards, and troubleshoot and revise layouts as required based on project feedback or floor plan changes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience drafting kitchen layouts or similar interior drafting work
  • Strong understanding of architectural plans and cabinetry design
  • Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Benefits

This full-time position offers a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, with the option to work from home. The successful candidate will have access to state-of-the-art software and tools, including 2020 Design, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Microsoft Excel.
