We are seeking an experienced Residential Estimator to join our team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. as a key member in delivering high-quality construction services.
About the Job- This role is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for residential projects, including custom homes, townhouses, and multi-residential developments.
- The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Australian construction materials, labor costs, and suppliers, as well as proficiency in estimating software such as Bluebeam, Buildsoft, or CostX.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Residential Estimator in Australia;
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
- Background in construction, engineering, or quantity surveying is preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, we would prefer candidates with:
- Experience in tendering processes and contract administration;
- Familiarity with local council requirements and the Australian National Construction Code (NCC);
- Previous experience liaising with Australian builders and developers.
This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday with a guaranteed morning shift in a day shift schedule aligned with Australian time zones.
