Job Overview

This role involves close cooperation with stakeholders, procurement and governance teams.

The job holder will have the authority to act within agreed guidelines and functional descriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify compliance status of suppliers before vessel arrival.
  • Conduct screenings of suppliers against databases for regulatory adherence.
  • Alert relevant parties in case of changes in supplier compliance status.
  • Ensure supplier documentation meets regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and stakeholders to validate supplier credentials.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance checks.
  • Evaluate non-compliance issues and initiate required actions.
Accountabilities
  • Timely identification and reporting of non-compliant suppliers.
  • Accuracy and completeness of compliance checks prior to operations.
  • Documentation and traceability of verification activities.
  • Effective communication and escalation of compliance risks.
Requirements
  • Project management experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with financial processes and systems.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fluency in English and working knowledge of secondary languages.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and data analysis.

Desirable traits include being independent, analytical, self-driven and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
