Accounting Specialist

This is a fully remote position as an experienced accounting professional. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-integrity environment with strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Closing the books monthly and generating accurate financial reports
  • Reconciling bank statements and resolving discrepancies to ensure fiscal integrity
  • Processing invoices and managing payment reconciliations using QuickBooks software
  • Providing transaction details to support the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with SEC filings and audits
  • Creating internal tickets for account managers regarding payment issues to maintain effective communication
  • Managing daily bookkeeping tasks to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions
  • Assisting in preparing quarterly and annual SEC reports to meet regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Senior-level accounting experience; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and other financial software applications
  • High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality to protect sensitive financial information
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with the CFO and auditors to ensure seamless financial operations
