Job Overview

The role of a Commercial Credit Analyst at our organization involves reviewing and analyzing the creditworthiness of residential & commercial borrowers and their associated assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of collateral, evaluating economic factors, and collaborating with loan officers to structure loan terms.

Detailed Responsibilities
  • Review financial statements, cash flow projections, credit reports, and other relevant documents to assess the risk associated with mortgage loan applications.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of collateral (residential & commercial real estate, equipment, or other assets) to determine its value and marketability.
  • Analyze financial statements of borrowers' businesses, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to assess their ability to generate sufficient cash flow to cover debt service.
  • Evaluate economic and industry-specific factors that may impact borrowers' ability to repay loans, including market trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with loan officers and underwriters to structure loan terms and conditions that align with borrowers' needs while managing credit risk effectively.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis or a similar role within the mortgage or finance industry.
  • Proficient in using financial analysis tools and software such as MyCRM, Infynity, Mercury Nexus, Flex, Salestrekker, or other CRM Software in the mortgage broking industry.
