Job Description

The Clinical Coding Professional will play a crucial role in our team by ensuring accurate coding of medical records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CPT/ICD-10 coding and be able to communicate effectively with the team.

Essential Functions:

  • Performs ongoing analysis of medical record documentation and assigns accurate codes per CMS, CPT, and Ventra Health guidelines.
  • Collaborates with the coding management team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Assists with client/provider audits and provides feedback on coding discrepancies.
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • College Graduate (Bachelor's degree holder)
  • RHIT and/or CPC certification required.
  • At least one (1) year of medical billing experience preferred.
