Position Title: Senior Medical Billing Specialist (Medicaid)

Work Set Up: Onsite

Schedule: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark Pampanga

Quick Rundown:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to manage billing services for medical providers. This role involves ensuring accurate claim submissions, verifying client eligibility, handling insurance claims and collections, and maintaining up-to-date billing records.

What Youll Do:

  • Provide billing services to ensure timely payment for medical services rendered by healthcare providers.
  • Enter diagnostic, treatment, and procedure codes into the system following established medical protocols to generate statements or claims.
  • Investigate rejected claims, liaise with healthcare providers to verify details, and update the database with corrected information.
  • Manage collections and address insurance fraud issues.
  • Oversee client eligibility verification and ensure accurate client records.
  • Perform weekly client billing and follow up on any held claims.
  • Maintain and update a detailed and accurate weekly billing spreadsheet.
  • Verify client benefits and obtain necessary authorizations for services rendered, both for new and existing clients.
  • Accurately enter insurance benefit information into the database, including authorization verification numbers and relevant details.
  • Communicate approvals for services and benefits to relevant parties via email.
  • Assist with client collections through regular review of accounts receivable reports.

What Were Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of medical coding and terminology.
  • Experience in Medicaid is a must.
  • Experience with medical coding, including CPT and ICD codes.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive client information.
