Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Engineer to conduct in-depth inspections and analysis of overhead electrical infrastructure to ensure the accuracy and reliability of utility asset datasets.

About the Role:

As a Utility Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying potential hazards, providing real-time data to utility companies, and contributing to improving utility service reliability. Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth inspections and cataloging utility assets with high accuracy, identifying electrical equipment issues and potential hazards, and assisting in developing and maintaining utility asset datasets.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections and create accurate records of utility assets
  • Identify and report electrical equipment issues and potential hazards
  • Assist in maintaining and updating utility asset datasets
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with industry standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support safe and efficient project execution

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in computer software, and strong communication abilities. Additionally, knowledge of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), national engineering standards, and best industry practices is preferred.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient computer skills and good written and oral communication abilities
  • Knowledge of the NESC and other relevant industry standards
