Role Overview

At Concepcion Business Services, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Financial Accounting Expertise professional to implement and support SAP Financials, focusing on FICO Controlling – Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Project System, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex business process requirements and provide suitable system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer needs.
  • Collaborate with clients to collect business requirements through facilitated workshops.
  • Map client business processes, objectives, and requirements; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules to ensure seamless integration.
  • Identify gaps, issues, and work-around solutions to optimize business operations.
  • Act as liaison between clients and technical teams for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and resolve software problems.
  • Document functional designs, test cases, and results to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements to drive innovation.
  • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
  • Facilitate communication between business functions and technical teams, providing ad-hoc training and user support as required.
  • Work independently and self-directed, with the ability to mentor junior team members when needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.
  • Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger, plus 3 or more of the following functions: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System.
  • Familiarity with FI integration points with other SAP modules like SD, MM, HR, PP, and PS.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects simultaneously.
  • Prior experience in Professional Services or Distribution companies is an asset.
  • Understanding of accounting business processes.
  • Ability to comprehend business processes from a customer perspective.
  • Capacity to work effectively within a team environment, interacting collaboratively with others.
  • Must be result-oriented, adaptable, flexible, and resourceful.
