Remote Medical Scribe Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Virtual Medical Scribe to join our team on a full-time basis. This role involves assisting healthcare providers by documenting patient encounters in real-time, allowing them to focus on direct patient care.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Scribing medical charts with precision and accuracy
  • LIVE scribing with healthcare providers in real-time
  • Communicating effectively with medical companies via phone
  • Navigating electronic health records with ease
  • Providing virtual support to physicians with clerical tasks
  • Updating Excel sheets accurately
  • Managing medical records requests efficiently
  • Making follow-up patient calls to ensure excellent customer service

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in LIVE scribing while working as a Medical Virtual Assistant. They must also be highly proficient in MS Office, Google Drive, and Google Sheets, as well as possess excellent communication skills.

In addition, the Virtual Medical Scribe should be able to navigate through phone systems, prioritize tasks effectively, and provide quality customer service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • At least 1 year of experience in LIVE scribing
  • Type 40-50 words per minute
  • Highly proficient in MS Office and Google Suite
  • Proficient in the English Language
  • Experience working with electronic health records
  • Proactive communication
  • Present Time management skills
  • Quality Customer Service
  • Patient scheduling skills
  • Calling patients back for Follow-ups/ reminders
  • Document Management and Email Management
  • Highly Reliable, Self-Motivated, Willing to Learn, and a Multitasker
