Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and architecting high-performance service APIs, developing robust governance and management systems, and partnering with the infrastructure team to build scalable cloud-based SaaS solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity principles, experience with Golang or Python, and knowledge of data streaming technologies such as MQTT, Kafka, and RabbitMQ. Additionally, they will have a strong understanding of observability tools like OpenTelemetry and industrial engineering data exchange protocols like OPC-UA and ModBus.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Design and Architect Scalable Backend Services: Guide best practices, technical direction, and system scalability using Golang or Python.
  • Cybersecurity Principles: Proactively address complex challenges of IoT environments—secure connectivity, data streaming, governance, and compliance.
  • Data Streaming Technologies: Experience with MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and other data streaming technologies.
  • Observability Tools: Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and other observability tools.
  • Industrial Engineering Data Exchange Protocols: Familiarity with OPC-UA, ModBus, and other industrial engineering data exchange protocols.
