Commercial Credit Analyst Role Overview

This role involves analyzing financial data to assess the creditworthiness of borrowers and their associated assets.

The Commercial Credit Analyst will review and evaluate financial statements, cash flow projections, credit reports, and other relevant documents to determine the risk associated with mortgage loan applications.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing financial data to determine creditworthiness.
  • Assessing the risk associated with mortgage loan applications.
  • Conducting thorough assessments of collateral to determine its value and marketability.
  • Analyzing financial statements to determine a borrower's ability to repay a loan.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in credit analysis or a similar role within the mortgage or finance industry.
  • Experience in using CRM software in the mortgage broking industry.
  • Proficient in using financial analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of commercial loans.
  • Knowledgeable in using lenders' servicing calculators.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
