Structural Design Professional

A highly skilled Structural Detailer will be responsible for setting modeling standards and ensuring the quality and accuracy of models. This role will involve coordinating with clients and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create structural drawings and Revit models that meet quality standards, including advanced model execution and complex geometry.
  • Ensure construction documents are accurately modeled and follow BIM content standards.
  • Collaborate closely with the project team to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
  • Communicate a clear plan of approach to the project manager, understand and document tasks, and commit to and execute the plan.
  • Balance multiple deadlines and changing priorities, manage client coordination, and identify areas for design improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing education, material groups, and update and improve standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Associates or combined education and experience.
  • Autodesk Certified Professional: Revit for Structural Design.
  • At least 3 years of full-time work experience in structural design, with experience in mid-sized structural projects.
  • Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills, ability to function independently.
