Job Title: Financial Operations Leader

Job Description

As a seasoned financial operations leader, you will oversee and manage the internal finance and accounting functions for a leading organization. You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping, financial reporting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and establishing robust financial control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records and ensure month-end and year-end closing.
  • Prepare and analyze three core financial statements: Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve financial control systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management.
  • Manage vendor invoicing, collections, payroll, and cash flow monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain rolling 13-week cash flow reports to support liquidity management.
  • Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.
  • Provide scenario analysis and cash flow projections to senior management.
Tax & Compliance
  • Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
  • Manage tax filings with external advisors.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors when necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA preferred; ACCA/CA a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in a Big 4 Accounting firm, ideally in a managerial or senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP; IFRS knowledge or willingness to learn is an advantage.
  • Practical experience with U.S. tax law (Singapore tax experience a plus).
