Job Title: Financial Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for managing the production of monthly management information reports, performing thorough validations and controls, and investigating errors above threshold.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, and external stakeholders, such as service providers. Key responsibilities will include preparing relevant documentation and regular updates of the Compensation Control Framework.

To excel in this role, applicants should have experience in a financial controller or auditor position in a large financial institution or Big 4 audit firms. Prior experience with IAS19 and IFRS2 is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce monthly MI vs Plan, prior periods and Forecast including comments on key drivers
  • Perform monthly validations and controls
  • Report and investigate errors above threshold
  • Answer queries from internal stakeholders and collaborate with external stakeholders and service providers
  • Support interim and annual report disclosure on employee benefits
  • Prepare relevant documentation and regular updates of the Compensation Control Framework
