Financial Operations Lead

As a crucial member of the finance team, the Financial Operations Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless financial processes. This includes handling document requirements for approved projects, coordinating with service providers and banks to facilitate timely and accurate submissions of daily/monthly management reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor utilization of budgeted resources, including capital expenditures (CAPX) and operating expenses (OPEX).
  • Conduct research on potential service providers and perform assessments prior to onboarding.
  • Perform due diligence and compare existing partners prior to availing collection facilities/payment channels, including Know Your Customer (KYC), pricing comparison, coordination with other teams for process flow and system integration.
  • Prepare content and monitor timely release of advisory for rolled-out projects.
  • Prepare daily/monthly reports prior to scheduled submission dates.
  • Coordinate with banks to update documentary and regulatory requirements, ensuring mutual compliance.
  • Maintain and update users' access/roles in the bank's online banking system for collection facilities.
  • Coordinate with the Treasury Control Operations (TCOR) team to recommend collecting bank accounts to be retained/closed.
  • Maintain organized and complete maintenance of central files/records.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, or related programs.
  • At least three years of related work experience in financial reporting or actuarial; Data Analytics experience is an advantage.
  • Proficient communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Well-developed IT skills (including word, databases, spreadsheets, and presentations); SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, able to act on own initiative and work within a team.
  • Able to work in Pasay City, Mondays-Fridays from 9 AM to 6 PM.
