Cloud Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Administrator with 5+ years of expertise in managing and optimizing cloud environments.

This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure.

They will also implement and support networking components, including virtual networks, network security groups, VPN gateways, and ExpressRoute.

Additionally, they will apply and monitor security controls across cloud resources, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

They will also redeploy and manage cloud-based analytics services such as Azure Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using DevOps tools for automated code deployment across environments.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into application lifecycle management.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
Security and Compliance
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access policies, and identity protection strategies.
  • Monitor and respond to security alerts using security center and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
  • Ensure data protection and compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
Monitoring and Optimization
  • Use monitoring tools to track performance and diagnose issues.
  • Optimize resource usage and cost through regular analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in cloud administration and networking.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Synapse, and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps.
  • Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI and PowerBI data flows.
