Content Editor Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Content Editor to refine and enhance blog content, ensuring it meets our high standards for quality, accuracy, and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Edit AI-generated blog posts for clarity, coherence, tone, and factual accuracy, utilizing expertise in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Strategically add relevant reference links and anchor text to improve SEO performance and user experience, while adhering to AP style guidelines.
  • E nsure client-specific discussions, branding, and messaging are appropriately and consistently represented throughout the content.
  • Select and insert appropriate images, including occasionally writing effective alt text, enhancing visual appeal and accessibility.
  • Conduct thorough proofreading to eliminate any grammatical errors, typos, and punctuation mistakes, upholding a high standard of content quality.
  • Maintain a consistent editing pace of 3-4 articles per hour while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven editorial background with extensive experience in editing and proofreading various types of content, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding and application of Associated Press (AP) style guidelines, ensuring consistency and accuracy in all edited content.
  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles, including keyword integration, linking strategies, and on-page optimization, to enhance content visibility and engagement.
  • Exceptional language skills, with a genuine passion for language and a natural ability to craft engaging and persuasive content.
  • Proficiency with Grammarly, utilizing tools to streamline the editing process and ensure error-free content.
  • Able to work quickly and effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results, while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.
