Job Summary

The Medical Records Data Encoder at Medisense Laboratory Center is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient records. This involves checking the records to be inputted into the clinic's information system, navigating the system based on the data to be encoded, and encoding the information correctly and completely.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as good communication skills. They should also have a pleasing personality and average to fast typing skills. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, and experience is a plus.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can uphold 7s Standards in the department and address concerns immediately. The successful candidate will follow DOH and ISO standards/guidelines and participate actively in Quality Improvement activities.

Responsibilities
  1. Checks the record to be inputted in the clinic's information system for accuracy and completeness.
  2. Navigates the clinic's information system based on the data to be encoded.
  3. Encodes information correctly and completely.
  4. Files the worksheets or records where encoded information has been derived for proper identification and traceability.
  5. Upholds 7s Standards in the department and addresses concern immediately.
  6. Follows DOH and ISO standards/guidelines.
  7. Participates actively in Quality Improvement and related activities.
Requirements
  • Graduate of any 4-year course.
  • Average to fast typing skills.
  • Good communication skills.
