Senior Financial Architect

This is a senior-level position that involves creating and implementing a cutting-edge financial infrastructure to support the growth of educational ventures.

  • Design and implement a streamlined financial ecosystem that fuels multiple education businesses through their hypergrowth phases.
  • Eliminate inefficiency while maximizing scalability and impact.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic design decisions that revolutionize and streamline critical financial processes.
  • Author expert written feedback on Deep Dives and Improvement Plans to enhance logical frameworks and train both AI systems and human colleagues.
  • Engage in strategic discussions focused on budgeting, market expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory adherence.
  • Orchestrate seamless large-scale financial operations across tuition management, audit processes, and tax compliance.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Crafting and evolving a cutting-edge AI-integrated financial ecosystem supporting rapidly scaling educational ventures.
  • Authoring strategic Design Decisions that revolutionize and streamline critical financial processes.
  • Providing expert written feedback on Deep Dives and Improvement Plans to enhance logical frameworks and train both AI systems and human colleagues.
  • Engaging in strategic discussions focused on budgeting, market expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory adherence.
  • Orchestrating seamless large-scale financial operations across tuition management, audit processes, and tax compliance.

Requirements

  • Professional financial certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA).
  • Minimum 10 years in progressive finance leadership positions (Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, or comparable roles) with demonstrable advancement.
  • Proven track record in executive finance leadership (SVP, CFO, or equivalent) with comprehensive oversight of all finance functions.
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and integrated financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience optimizing and managing ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, etc.), preferably in multi-entity organizational structures.
  • Successfully managed or participated in at least 5 external audits with Big 4 accounting firms, from either perspective.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of effective executive-level engagement.
  • Based within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones.

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Knowledge of U.S. K-12 education frameworks (private schools, charter systems, ESA programs).
  • Track record of developing finance automation solutions or AI-enhanced workflows.
  • Background in financial operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
Working with Us

This is a full-time position requiring entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
