Medical Claims Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Medical Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing medical claims and insurance processes with high accuracy and efficiency.
This role is ideal for an individual with strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and experience in data entry. You will play a crucial part in ensuring timely and accurate submission and tracking of medical claims while maintaining compliance with all relevant policies and regulations.
">- Accurately input claim information into our system and maintain organized spreadsheets.
- Track payments and denials, ensuring claims are processed efficiently.
- Resubmit denied or incorrect claims and resolve any related issues promptly.
- Prepare and deliver monthly claim billing reports and summaries.
- Contact insurance agencies to address inquiries and resolve claim denials.
- Utilize tools such as ClickUp, Google Suite, and Trizetto Simple Claim to manage workflows effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will need to possess:
- Experience in medical billing and claims management.
- Proficient in using ClickUp, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.), and Trizetto Simple Claim.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills for handling insurance inquiries and resolving issues.
- Ability to analyze claim denials and determine the best course of action.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
