Job Overview


The Data Entry Clerk will provide support to the supermarket/sales station team in various clerical functions. These include encoding, report generation, monitoring, filing, safekeeping, cash handling, photocopying, scanning, answering calls, preparing payments, mailing documents, and procuring office supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encode data accurately and efficiently
  • Generate reports as required
  • Monitor inventory levels and update records
  • Filing and safekeeping of documents
  • Cash handling and processing transactions
  • Photocopying and scanning documents
  • Answering phone calls and responding to inquiries
  • Preparing payments and mailing documents
  • Procuring office supplies


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A college degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Prior experience in clerical work is an asset


Benefits:


We offer a competitive salary range of $12-$15 per hour, depending on experience. This position is project-based for three months, with the possibility of extension. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.
