Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Assistant (Engineering) to provide technical support for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of emergency shelter and CCCM interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure alignment with sectoral standards and community needs
  • Provide technical expertise for project planning, implementation, and monitoring
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience in emergency shelter programming, construction, or infrastructure development in humanitarian contexts
  • Experience with NFI distribution and related logistics in disaster response settings
  • Proficiency in using engineering design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp) and project management software

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the Philippines or a similar disaster-prone context
