Job Description

We're seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. This role will involve managing accounts receivable, working closely with an international team, and using Xero to maintain accurate financial records.

About the Role:

  • Perform general bookkeeping duties, including data entry and bank reconciliation
  • Assist with financial reporting and basic analysis
  • Handle accounts payables and support tax compliance documentation
  • Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
  • Collaborate with internal accounting and finance teams

Core Expertise: Accounts Receivable Management

  • Manage end-to-end accounts receivable process (invoicing to reconciliation)
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain AR ledgers
  • Follow up with clients professionally on overdue invoices
  • Handle client queries regarding payments and terms
  • Implement effective collection strategies in line with compliance standards
  • Generate AR reports and suggest improvements to AR workflows

Required Skills

  • Around five years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Strong background in accounts receivable processes (preferably AU experience)
  • Proficiency in Xero
  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with remote teams
  • Strong English skills (verbal and written)
