As a bookkeeping professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and health of our clients. We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper with a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounts Payable / Receivables: Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Billing: Generate and issue invoices to clients, verify billing accuracy, and resolve any billing-related issues. Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary billing information.
  • Bank Reconciliations / Collections: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables, facilitating collections.
  • Payroll Processing: Administer the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, validation, and distribution of paychecks. Stay up-to-date on payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Invoicing: Prepare and submit invoices to clients in a timely manner. Coordinate with project managers and team leads to gather relevant invoicing information.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working in a virtual or remote environment is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in US time zones.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
