About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance leader to spearhead our financial infrastructure development. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in crafting and implementing AI-integrated financial ecosystems.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and optimizing complex financial processes, as well as collaborating with senior leadership teams to drive strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crafting a cutting-edge AI-powered financial ecosystem to support rapidly scaling educational ventures
  • Developing strategic design decisions to revolutionize and streamline critical financial processes
  • Providing expert written feedback on deep dives and improvement plans to enhance logical frameworks and train both AI systems and human colleagues
  • Engaging in strategic discussions focused on budgeting, market expansion, vendor partnerships, and regulatory adherence
  • Orchestrating seamless large-scale financial operations across tuition management, audit processes, and tax compliance
Requirements
  • Professional financial certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA)
  • Minimum 10 years in progressive finance leadership positions (Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, or comparable roles) with demonstrable advancement
  • Proven track record in executive finance leadership (SVP, CFO, or equivalent) with comprehensive oversight of all finance functions
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and integrated financial reporting
  • Extensive experience optimizing and managing ERP platforms (NetSuite, SAP, etc.), preferably in multi-entity organizational structures
  • Successfully managed or participated in at least 5 external audits with Big 4 accounting firms, from either perspective
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of effective executive-level engagement
  • Based within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

This is a full-time position that requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, which equates to $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
